Returning to Europe in 2013 after spending several years in Montréal,

Anthony Weiss shifts his focus toward the creation of long-format contemporary pieces.

His artistic approach is built through deep research centered on human and existential themes.

He wrote ÛMAN during the summer of 2014, the founding piece of the company.

From this creation emerged UNATI, a term derived from Sanskrit — an ancient sacred language — meaning “progress,” “elevation,” or “development.”

UNATI reflects Anthony Weiss’s desire to develop multidisciplinary projects that place humanity at the heart of its artistic vision.

The company was first established in Toulouse before relocating to Aix-en-Provence, the founder’s hometown.

The creation process of ÛMAN spanned from 2014 to 2018 and was premiered at the Théâtre des Calanques in Marseille in January 2018.

The project received extensive support from production and distribution organizations on both regional (Région Sud) and national levels.

The performance received the « Special Jury and Audience Award » at the Sul Filo del Circo Festival in Turin in 2017, and later won the award for « Best Circus-Dance Show » at the Avignon Off Festival in 2019.

In January 2020, Anthony Weiss wrote , a project that led to several research and development phases in 2020, 2021, and 2024.

From 2022 to 2024, he recreated ÛMAN as ÛMAN Genesis.

Its premiere took place at the CIRKL Festival by CIRKLABO in Leuven, Belgium, in May 2024.

In December 2024, he initiated the project ANDROGYNY and created the short film MANIFESTE, released in January 2026, with the premiere of the performance scheduled for 2026/2027.

In 2026, CABARET UNATI was launched at La Manufacture in Aix-en-Provence.

And since 2024, UNATI has also been established in Belgium.
