RÂ is a ceremonial creation honoring the rite of passage from Life to Death.
This performance continues the theme of death and rebirth in Anthony Weiss's writings.
His first piece, ÛMAN, and ÛMAN Genesis, as well as the piece FA, which explores a journey
beyond borders, he directed and choreographed for the company Amoukanama.
The author is interested in this passage, both symbolic and physical. His inspiration comes from
immersion and research into ancient Egyptian civilization.
What if death was proposing us a passage?
RÂ is a ritual, on a launchpad before the great leap.
RÂ is a ceremonial creation honoring the passage from Life to Death.
It brings us into a mysterious journey within rites, impregnated of the civilisation of ancient Egypt.
A symbolic, timeless, initiatic journey represented in finesse,
playing with the characteristics of the epic register and proposing a plurality of lectures with a dramaturgy in fragments.
